We're Danny and Ian. We build gardens across Durham: paving, driveways, fencing, turf, drainage and the lot. Same two lads on your job from the first day to the last, and it's left tidy every night.

Lighting, decking, levels

A garden shouldn't stop being useful at sunset. We build in the lighting, the levels and the drainage while the ground is still open, because that's the only sensible time to do it.
What we do
Hard landscaping,
done properly
We take gardens on as a whole job rather than a list of odds and ends. If you only want the patio, that's fine too.
Porcelain paving
Crisp, low maintenance porcelain laid to tight joints and proper falls, so it sheds water and still looks sharp years later.
Indian sandstone
Riven sandstone patios with the colour blend set out by hand before a single slab is bedded. Kandla grey included.
Block paved driveways
Driveways dug out, sub base built up properly and blocks laid to a pattern that suits the house, with the edges restrained.
Turfing and artificial grass
Real turf or artificial, both laid on a prepared base so you get a flat, even lawn rather than a rippled one.
Drainage and aco drains
Aco channels and drainage designed into the build from the start, which is what keeps a new patio from sitting under water.
Sleeper works and raised beds
Sleeper retaining walls, raised beds and terracing to bring a sloped or awkward garden back into usable levels.
Fencing and gates
Fence runs and gates put in straight, plumb and to height. As one customer put it, the fence and gate finish the garden off.
Decking
Decking built to sit level with the house and take the weather, giving you somewhere to put a table that isn't the lawn.
Garden lighting
Lighting worked into the beds, steps and decking so the garden is still worth looking at once the sun goes down.
Hedge trimming
Hedges cut square and level. We have been known to run a spirit level along the top before we call it finished.

Two lads, one garden
at a time
Elite Landscaping NE is Daniel Fuller and Ian Field. We're both landscape gardeners, we're both directors, and we're both on your job. There's no crew of subbies turning up in our place.
We've been trading as a limited company since September 2020, working out of Pity Me and building gardens across Durham and the wider North East. In 2023 we were voted one of the top three landscape gardeners in Durham by ThreeBestRated.
The reviews all say roughly the same thing, and it's the bit we care most about: we work hard, we get the detail right, and we leave the place clean and tidy every single day.

"Incredible work from Elite Landscaping! Over the moon with what Danny and Ian have achieved on our garden. What started off as a drawing has been brought to life by Elite landscaping. Hard working everyday for three weeks!! If you're looking to get some garden work done i would highly recommend them but be quick as they fill up on work fast."
